About Mr. Ed
I’m ED HALL. Known in the local bike scene as Mr. Ed, I’ve been riding, racing & repairing bikes for the last 30+ years in Eastern PA.
For many years, I served on an award-winning (America’s Best Bike Shops) team. Now I run my own mobile bike repair business, which gives me the ultimate freedom to do what I love most: ride, meet other cycling enthusiasts, and get more people and their bikes outside.
While I spent 5 years of my cycling career racing at the Pro Elite level, these days I’m happiest participating in the bike scene at a slower pace. I believe in making local biking more accessible to all — regardless of age or skill. The world is a better place when people spend more time together outdoors. That’s how I like to help.
I’m also passionate about volunteering in the bike community. I have served on the AIDS Red Ribbon Ride charity ride team every year since 2012, and often volunteer for other charity events such as the Tour de Cure and The Ben to the Shore Bike Ride.
I was influential in opening French Creek State Park and Green Lane Park up to mountain bikers, and I volunteer to help maintain the Nockamixon State Park mountain biking trails, as well as other local trail systems.
I’m a certified Fit Kit Systems and Trek Precision Fit bicycle fitter, a certified Shimano and SRAM tech, as well as certified in Fox suspension, with multiple other certs dating back to 1990.
Over the course of my career, I’ve serviced thousands of bikes and fixed almost anything that can go wrong. I’ve gotten people of all ages on their first bikes, and helped repeat customers assemble and fit their fifth bikes. I’m proud of my long-standing reputation as one of the best, most trusted, and knowledgeable bike repair guys in the area.
Plus, I’m blast with a banjo and a Jack n Ginger.
